Fun With Family!

Sitting here with my boyfriend and my step-kids watching "The National Lampoons Christmas Vacation", It's fun to show them movies from my childhood that they have never seen before. Watching the looks on their faces as they sit and look at us like "really?". Lmao! Tristan is sitting at the computer playing his Lego game online, Chloe is sitting on the couch watching the movie with us. Chloe is 11 (will be 12 in December '11) and Tristan just turned 9 in September '11. Me and their dad have been together for almost 5 years now. Our anniversary is January 14, 2007, my plan is to be married next year hopefully on Halloween. I have a lot of homework to do this weekend. I have research to do on the Gothic era for stained glass, then I have to write a 3 page single spaced paper with a minimum of 3 visuals so she knows that we understand what we are writing about, and a minimun of 3 references. That is due on November 3rd. I have a quiz to do that is due on Tuesday and ANOTHER quiz I have to study for due on Tuesday, THEN, I have to do a fitness assessment that is also due on Tuesday. Whew! I am going to be very busy all weekend! Well, goodnight for now internet peoples! Will write more and probably more interesting stuff when I get the chance. <3

First Blog in a Long Time...

Wow, I haven't been on here in a LOOOOONNNNGGGG time! I didn't even remember I had this until I signed up for Google+ and it informed me that I not only had 1 but 2 blog sites! Lmao!!! So, I figured that I might as well make good use of it. When I started this blog (2 and a half years ago), I was going to school for Computer security and Forensics. It changed when I went to my first class, Criminology 101. I loved it so much and the things I learned in there that I changed my major to Criminal Justice. The further I go in my CJ field, the more I actually pay attention to what is going on in the world of Criminal Justice and how people are treated by law enforcement officials. It truely pains me to see people being beaten and abused by the people that are SUPPOSED to be there to protect them. A field I am going into...or at least THOUGHT I wanted to go into...now I'm not so sure. I took an Art class as a relaxer class, Beginning Stained Glass (ART244). I originally wanted to take Glass Blowing, but to my dismay, they got rid of that class to "save money". So, I took the Stained Glass class (I was a poet and didn't know it), lol!
This was my very first attempt at stained glass. I was so happy and excited that I picked it up so well and so fast that I made 6 projects instead of the 2 that we were only supposed to make. Lol! I have Intermediate Stained Glass this term, and I am making a series of 3 boxes. The biggest one is going to be a jewelry box, the middle one is going to be a box for a wedding set and the smallest box is going to be for the engagement ring. My instructor informed me that I needed to "slow down and take your time, make this project last all term." to which I replied "I cannot slow down because this comes so easy and natural to me", so I have to make a series of 3. Withing the first week of class I already had the bottom of the box soldered together. Lol! That would be the 2nd class, since we only have it twice a week. =0 Hoe. Lee. Cow! I have no idea how I am going to make this project last ALL term...so I will make 3 of them. Here is the bottom of the 1st one;
I will add more pics as I get it done. Well, it is bedtime for me since I haven't felt well today. Came home from school after my 2nd class (had to skip my 3rd class) because I had a migraine. Goodnight and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!

YAY! My first BLOG!

I have been sick for like 2 days now, and I am starting to get VERY angry at everyone around me! Not on purpose, just because I don't feel good at all. I am however feeling better than I was yesterday...which isn't saying very much since I've only had it for about 2 days now! LOL! Trever got laid off from his job! I am so sad about it...I loved him working for T-Mobile! We got all kinds of phone service for nearly nothing! HAHA! Not anymore though.

I am hoping that with our new president that our economy will start to get better now. I voted for Barack and I am soooo happy that he won! I tyhink he will be the person to turn this country around and bring us all back together as a country instead of some divided country! Well, I must go lay down now...I am starting to get very fatigued! TTYL! Have a wonderful weekend!!!
